Shut up and get to work!
Synopsis
Some think that if you have a job, you're lucky and should just shut up and get to work. The truth is that millions work in unjust and unsafe conditions. Seemingly pleasant workplaces in fact filled with abuse and disparity. Children are still being forced to work. Legitimate companies continue to hire workers ilegally and without benefits. And, incredibly, governments continue to turn a blind eye.
"Shut up and get to work!" is an investigative, feature-length documentary that will take us worldwide in search of the problems and the solutions to decent work. This ambitious project will introduce the broader issues but will then dig deep in search of the critical path to solutions.
The project has the support and assistance of major global unions allowing the producers to gain access to very controversial scenarios. Having such door openers is a bonus.
The film is being filmed and edited with the intent of cinema and television release.
