During last month's wildfires in southern California, mondolibrary photographer Nick Morris found himself surrounded by flames in the infamous Escondido blaze. Fortunately for him, a team of courageous fire fighters broke through the flames just as he was giving up.

We are pleased to welcome the ICTSD among our civil society clients. The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) was established in Geneva in September 1996 to contribute to a better understanding of development and environment concerns in the context of international trade.

We could not be prouder. For the past four years, mondofragilis network, messaggio studios and naturaprint have been supplying the World AIDS Campaign with designs, web programming, hosting, printing, television public service announcements and many additional services. It has been, and continues to be a privilege. 2007 is no exception. Once again, we are proud to have conceived the campaign materials and produced them.

About three weeks ago, we upgraded the look and feel of our site. It went from a version 2.1 to a 2.2. Well, in just three weeks, here is our brand new site, but this time it's much more than a cosmetic upgrade.

naturaprint is pleased to once again be a part of the region's Imprim'vert operation. It recognises printing facilities whose waste management respects the Rhône-Alpes' regional guidelines.

A green printing facility is more than just offering recycled paper. Many people still think that's all it is. In our case it's about getting as close as possible to a zero carbon footprint. It's also about providing our staff with a safe and pleasant working environment.

About six months ago, the messaggio studios design team, at our master analyst's request, began a revision of our entire style. It was time to readjust our look to our new philosophy. This website is the result of that quest.

We promote change. Our slogan is 'messages must cause change'. We keep changing our equipment; getting the best and the latest. We change our philosophy and offer to meet the needs of our civil society and UN partners. It would therefore make sense, that we keep our own style up to date. And so, once again, we've changed.

Though mondofragilis network has been hosting websites for many years, we only offered it to our closest clients like the World AIDS Campaign and the World YWCA. But now, as we grow, so do our servers and our technical infrastructure. For this reason, we are now able - and very pleased - to offer comprehensive web services hosting, domain name purchasing, web design and more. Our new service is called mondohttp.

Today, our naturaprint facility in the French Alps received our much awaited direct to plate solution. The transition away from film will begin next week and last three to four weeks. During this period, we will output to plates but keep the film operation going to ensure redundancy in case of issues.

Naturaprint is very proud to have been selected as the printer of this issue of Our Planet. This very renowned publication is seen as the environment's leading voice.
